No Mulligans

If your ball lands in a penalty zone from the tee box, a provisional will be played and the relevant stroke penalty applied to score.

Play As it Lies

Until the season changes and the ground gets softer we’ll be playing as it lies. Each course will state if winter rules are in play before each event begins.

Putt Out

As gimmy ranges differentiate between each playing group, it'll be easier to regulate by getting rid of them altogether. Therefore each player will need to finish the hole in order to score points.

Ready Golf

Ready golf will be played on the tee boxes to help speed up the pace of play.

Free Relief/Abnormal Course Conditions

(Temporary Water/GUR/Drainage/Paths)

If a players ball or stance is affected by abnormal course conditions they may take free relief at the nearest point but no closer to the flag.

Course Etiquette

Course etiquette will determine if we get invited back to most golf clubs so try and respect the course and your playing partners to keep it as enjoyable for everyone.

No Slow Play

Preventing slow play makes the round more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Penalty Areas

Red Stakes/Lateral Hazards

If the ball is playable, players can take the shot at their own risk. Otherwise its a 1 stroke penalty and a drop 2 club lengths from the point of entry. Drop from the knee.

Yellow Stake/Water Hazard

Red Stakes/Lateral Hazards

If the ball is playable, players can choose to take the shot at their own risk. Otherwise it’s a 1 stroke penalty and the player can drop as far back from behind the hazard as they want. No closer to the flag. Drop from the Knee.

White Stakes/Out of Bounds

White Stakes/Out of Bounds

If you find your ball on the wrong side of a white stake, you're taking what's called a stroke and distance penalty. That means you have to add 1 stroke to your score and re-hit the shot you just played from the same spot. If you’re unsure if your ball is out of bounds, hit a provisional ball. This rule also applies from the tee box, so will be 3 off the tee if the 1st shot is found out of bounds.
